Are you ready to rock today? Are you ready to see what you can do to make today special? Are you going to live today like you’re living your dream? If you’re not, fuck you. Life is a game and our mindset is what separates those who grow and those who perish. I don’t care if you’re in the C-suite, or sweeping it, today is yours for living the life others can only dream of. There is nothing stopping you from getting yours, helping others and feeling great other than the noise you allow between your ears. You are in control of the music and the volume. If your day is not starting with a Mac truck filled with energy, what thoughts are getting in your way? What story are you telling yourself as to the reason why? What do you need to let go of so that you can hold on to the exciting pull of where your life wants to lead you? All you want is in your mind. It’s not the money. It’s not the fame. It’s not the job. The wife or husband. And it’s definitely not the things you worry about. All that is just mind games you play with yourself. Life is a journey of process, of learning and of growth. Love that. Outcomes are just the destination, and when we focus all our energy on the destination, we blind ourselves from the steps to get there. Happiness exists inside first, then radiates out. The same goes for love, joy, peace and all the good feeling emotions you can think of. If you’re waiting for things outside of you to give you those good feelings, you can keep waiting. Nothing makes you feel anything. You make you feel everything. So today, while you start your day and ask yourself “are you ready?”, pay attention to what answers back. Today is yours for the taking.
